This is one mammoth blog post! I had to share the scope of this session. When you hire Thrive Seniors for your senior pictures, we are going to provide you with a personalized session that fits your personality and your style. In our pre-session phone consultation, I am going to want to know your dreams about your senior portrait session and what you want and what you don’t want. I am not just going to take you where I want to go, but work with you to make sure I am covering what you want. Aysia was so excited to come to Kansas City for her senior portraits. She was looking for something a little different than all her friends in Topeka. I’m pretty sure we delivered!
This first set of pictures is so beautiful! The color of those amazing doors works so beautifully with her dark hair and outfit. I knew when I saw those heels that this location would allow me to show them off. Incredible, right?
I have to tell the story about this picture with the angel wings. (Which, by the way, are now gone. Tears.) We stopped very quickly at this very popular spot for Instagrammers and snapped this picture. It didn’t make it into Aysia’s favorites that she purchased from her session. Her little brother was at her viewing ordering session and he LOVED this picture of her. It was his favorite by far and he was so bummed when it didn’t make the cut. It was the most precious thing to me. I just had to give him the proof so that he could have his favorite picture of his angel sister!
The entrance to the Union Station provides such a golden glowy background. It’s a busy place, but worth the waiting to get images like these.
So, when Aysia put on this outfit, I felt like she was really in her element. Destroyed jeans, black bodysuit, camo jacket and tennis shoes never looked so good! This outfit was an obvious fit for The Crossroads Art District’s Art Alley. It was like BOOM!
I loved that Aysia made this small but impactful change in the next series. Can you tell what she did? She just changed her lip color to a bold, bright red. I love it!
Seriously! Could she be any cuter? I mean, come on!
Her final outfit was this silky and on-trend dress. She found this dress on Amazon. What a great addition to her wardrobe for her senior portraits. She is so beautiful.
