Would you travel 1,000 miles for your senior pictures? Olivia did! What the what? Let me explain…Olivia just recently moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming when her mom’s job took them away from Kansas City. A few years ago, I photographed Olivia’s sister’s senior pictures and Olivia really wanted for me to be her photographer too. What an honor!
My first question for her mom was “why”? I mean, they live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Big Sky Country. I have never been there, but I hear that it is magnificently beautiful. Kansas City definitely has its originality and it’s beauty, but nothing like Wyoming. But for a high school senior who has grown up in Kansas and was transplanted during high school to Wyoming, I guess there is no place like home.
I asked Olivia to answer a couple questions for me. First, this is what she had to share about working with Thrive seniors:
My experience was soooo great. I didn’t really know how it was going to be like before and Heidi was so cool and it was never awkward or weird and she totally knows what she’s doing and is so nice about everything and my pictures turned it absolutely amazing and I love them
THE THING IN MY LIFE I AM MOST PROUD OF:
My academic and athletic achievements.
Olivia is not only a beautiful girl inside and out, she’s a gymnast, a pole vaulter, and an extraordinary student.
RANK YOUR SENIORITIS ON A LEVEL FROM 1 TO 10:
Oliva ranks her as a 10! Not surprising graduation is just a month away!
A PERFECT DAY WOULD BE:
A sunny, summer day. Her portrait session was on a perfect day!
AFTER I GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL, I WILL:
Going to Kansas State University to major in biology for pre-med with a minor in math.
DURING MY SENIOR PHOTO SHOOT, I LOVED:
How much fun it was and it wasn’t awkward at all. Heidi was very open to doing whatever I really wanted to do.
MY FAVORITE OUTFIT WAS:
The lilac colored shirt with jeans because it was more casual and natural looking and looked good with any background.
